Instructions
Start by adding all of the dough ingredients to the bowl of the stand mixer, and mix for 5-7 minutes until the dough is completely uniform. It will be very sticky.
Cover the bowl with a towel and let rise in a warm place for 30 minutes to an hour. It won’t visibly rise too much, but if you skip this step the dough will be a bit too dense.
Preheat your oven to 325°, and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Using a spatula, spread the dough onto the parchment paper in a rectangle approximately 8x10 inches. Dough should be about ½ -¾ inch thick.
Spread the top of the dough with olive oil and the diced garlic. Next layer your mozzarella cheese, then sprinkle with herbs.
Bake for 25 minutes or until the cheese is turning a nice brown color around the edges. Slice the cheesy bread once horizontally, then 6 or 7 times vertically to end up with 12-14 breadsticks. These are moist and delicious as is, but also amazing dipped in marinara, ranch, or garlic and oil. Enjoy!!
